This week’s episode of the Book Lovers Series is a very special one. Located in the heart of the Lyon district of Monplaisir, France, the Librairie du Premier Film is the largest bookshop in the world dedicated to cinema. Lyon is also known affectionately as the birthplace of cinema because it is the home of the Cinématographe Lumière. I was literally in heaven the entire time I was filming the bookshop.

In addition to books on cinema and photography, the bookstore also carries biographies, essays, review and comics, as well as DVDs and Blu-rays of classic films.
