I was surprised to see how pretty and original the book displays at Lutyens & Rubinstein were. Founded in 2009 by literary agents Sarah Lutyens and Felicity Rubinstein, this charming London bookstore carries both fiction and non-fiction books, as well as a special collection of children’s books, poetry and art books.
Lutyens & Rubinstein stocks its shelves based on requests from its readers, writers, publishing contacts, and friends (both adults and children) who over the years have shared with the bookstore which books they would most like to find in a bookshop. Every book in the shop is there because somebody loves it and has recommended it. Now that’s a very special bookstore indeed!
In addition to books, the shop stocks their own-branded bags, as well as stationery, cards, reading glasses, pictures by Hugo Guinness and Serge Seidlitz, and homemade preserves.
I love the book displays at Lutyens & Rubinstein so much. If you want to see what I mean … check out our latest episode of the Book Lovers Series!
