I’m surprised that in a town as historic and cultured as Old Town Alexandria, there are not too many bookshops calling Old Town home. When I found out that Old Town Books were about to open, just a block from the Potomac River, I was beside myself. I had to film and feature it in an episode of the Book Lovers Series.

UPDATE: At the time I was filming this episode, Old Town Books was still located at its original location on Strand Street. It has since moved to a new location on South Royal Street (see address below).
