In 1976, Kramers opened as the first bookstore/café in Washington D.C. Since then, the bookstore has remained one of the District’s most beloved institutions. In addition to the bookshop, Kramers also has a restaurant and a full-service bar, and hosts hundreds of book-related events each year.

Having visited Kramers dozens of times, I finally had a chance to film it for the Book Lovers Series.
